Friends -

“Love from the center of who you are; don’t fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to good. Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle.” (Romans 12.10; The Message)

We are thankful for a God who loves us in this way as well as the opportunity to share this cruciform love with each other and our community. Sharing love in the midst of growing friendship serves to reveal the way of the Lord to others. As we submit, forgive, encourage, support, and “practice playing second fiddle”, God is glorified and his story is told. Below are several upcoming opportunities to share in the love of God, and invite others into this journey. Description: With four weeks remaining in our Journey into Deuteronomy, we will take a look at Deuteronomy 15.10-11 seeking the changes God desires in us.

Event: Foundations

Description: There are three purposes for Foundations: 1) to learn basic foundations of Christianity, 2) to participate in a God-centered, non-threatening environment where honest questions and answers about Christianity can be shared; this will be an environment of conversation not classroom, and 3) to seek after God, and all that He has to give us.
